Järfälla Kommun wanted to clarify for the people living in Barkabystaden what to throw where, since a lot of the trash ended up in the wrong bin. If the trash is not sorted properly it’s not possible to recycle, and the recyclable materials will end up as waste incineration instead. By working together and adding clear signs on top as well as on the fronts of the bin we could improve the recycling experience. The result is both fun and intuitive.
